    • This is an untimed, multiple-choice assessment that takes around 30 minutes to finish.
    • It’s designed to match your skills and motivation with the role you’ve applied for.
    • The link will be active for 3 days, so try to complete it as soon as you can.
    • If you run into any issues accessing the assessment, feel free to reach out to us using the contact details or CareerBot at the bottom of the page.
    • After completing the assessment, you’ll hear back from us via email or phone within 3 working days.
    • If you requested a reasonable adjustment for the online test, someone from our team will be in touch with you.
    • If you’re successful, we’ll give you a call within 3 working days after you complete the online test.
    • This call helps us confirm that you meet the minimum requirements for the role, like shift patterns, training schedules, salary, and travel distance to the job location.
    • We’ll also chat about your motivation for applying, making sure your goals and interests align with the role and LBG’s values.
    • Plus, we’ll go over the next steps for the Selection Event and discuss any reasonable adjustments you might need on the day.
    • We’ll schedule this part of the process during your pre-screen call.
    • It’s a 60-minute one-on-one virtual interview via Microsoft Teams, and you’ll receive the link 48 hours before the interview.
    • The interview focuses on your strengths and includes role plays to give you a sense of the types of queries you might handle in the role. The role play briefs will be attached to the MS Teams invite for you to review beforehand.
    • You’ll also need to provide your Right to Work and Proof of Address during the call to move forward.
      • Acceptable Right to Work – UK / Irish Passport, Online Right to Work Sharecode or UK Birth Certificate accompanied with proof of your National Insurance Number
      • Acceptable Proof of Address – Full or provisional driving license, or a bank statement or utility bill issued within the last 3 months. If you do not have any of these documents, please discuss this with us during the pre-screen call
      • If you have applied for a role within Belfast, please note that you will also need to provide one further ID document. A right to work, proof of address and a further document that could be from either acceptable list.
    • The assessor won’t ask follow-up questions, so it’s important to give clear and detailed responses to each one. Make sure you understand why you’re interested in the role and working with LBG by doing a bit of research beforehand to ensure this role is the right fit for you.
    • When discussing your past experiences, using the STAR technique will help to really bring your story to life. Start by explaining the Situation, then describe the Task or challenge, detail the Actions you personally took, and finally, share the Result of your efforts. This method works well because it allows you to provide clear, structured responses, showcasing your skills and experiences in a way that’s clear and informative for interviewers to evaluate and assess.
